Brisbane-based bookmaker Dean Shannon didn't muck around with his new bookmaking venture. He dove straight into the deep end of the pool when he launched Neds in the spring of 2017.
Neds made an immediate splash with its orange branding and accompanying advertising blitz, which included plenty of billboards, television, digital and newspaper ads to announce the arrival of the new player on the Australian online betting scene.
Shannon's latest betting start-up came after his three-year stint as the chief executive of Ladbrokes Australia, which followed the purchase of his previous betting company Bookmaker.com.au.
